Responsibilities
- Support daily mill operations and contribute to team goals
- Learn the ins and outs of sawmill production and identify areas for improvement
- Troubleshoot equipment, processes, and team dynamics
- Shadow and assist experienced Production Supervisors
- Champion safety, quality, and efficiency on the floor
- Lead special projects that drive operational success
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (Engineering, Business, Forestry, or related fields)
- Natural leadership skills and a passion for team success
- Strong communication—both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with diverse teams including unionized tradespeople, operators, and contractors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general administrative tasks
