Permanent Full Time | 80 hours per fortnight including a monthly ADO
About the Role
Join a dynamic multidisciplinary team supporting young people aged 15-24 with mental health challenges across the Grampians region. Work closely with senior clinicians and the Lived and Living Experience Workforce to deliver recovery focused, family inclusive, evidence based care. This role offers meaningful responsibility and the chance to make a real difference in community mental health, with opportunities for ongoing professional development and clinical supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess mental health and risk to prioritise care and referrals
- Treat a caseload as primary clinician using evidence-based methods
- Develop, implement, and review treatment plans addressing biopsychosocial needs
- Involve families actively in treatment delivery
- Collaborate effectively within the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate clinical records respecting privacy and confidentiality
Skills & Experience
- Relevant health qualification (psychology, nursing, social work, OT); AHPRA registration where applicable
- Valid Victorian driver’s licence and Working with Children Check
- Experience with evidence-based, family inclusive treatment for youth mental health
- Strong mental health assessment and clinical formulation skills
- Knowledge of trauma informed care and relevant legislation
