Job Summary
The OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Components team within Factory Sustainable Solutions and OEM Components, Business Sector Channel Management & Key Components in PSE is recruiting an Obsolescence Administrator for the Support Team at the Indian site.
The OEM Components team is responsible for our global product portfolio of OEM components such as pumps, valves, measuring instruments, electrical & automation and integration components. The portfolio thus includes components purchased from selected suppliers. We drive the continuous improvement of the OEM portfolio to ensure competitiveness and to support business strategies whilst complying to Tetra Pak standards and legal requirements.
The position is permanent and based in Chakan, Pune India and you will report to the Manager Support Team.
What you will do
- Collect and compile Lifecycle data from suppliers.
- Frequent interaction with suppliers to increase collaboration in general but also to improve accuracy of Lifecycle data.
- Continuously monitor and control Lifecycle data for all components, triggering upcoming issues in due time using our defined channels.
- Support Technical Product Managers regarding Lifecycle data and Obsolescence management.
- Support internal and external stakeholders regarding Lifecycle data and Obsolescence management.
- Drive for continuous improvements in way of working.
- Ensure that processes are maintained and developed.
We believe you have
- University bachelor’s degree within Mechanical/Electrical engineering or other relevant technical education, combined with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Fluent English language knowledge and good verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint).
- You are structured and analytically skilled, which makes it easier to create structure and keep track of parallel things.
- Possess a high degree of agency and is enthusiastic in finding new ways of working, increasing efficiency and improving existing processes.
- Passion about technology and working in dynamic environment, independently and as part of a team.
- Open to change and to learn new tools and ways of working.
- Strong time management skills to deliver on time and with good quality within your areas of responsibility.
