Position Summary:

FedData Technology Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to support US Space Force and Space Command sales. This role will be responsible for developing strategic customer relationships, growing accounts, and delivering tailored technology solutions that align with mission objectives. The candidate will focus on Space Force installations and research centers across CONUS with a focus on modernization initiatives.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Own and grow sales pipeline within designated Space Force accounts
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with Space Force decision-makers, OEM Partners, System Integrators, and Technical Stakeholders
  • Position IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, Network, hybrid cloud, and data protection solutions
  • Respond to RFIs/RFQs and manage full sales lifecycle
  • Collaborate with engineering, OEM, and procurement teams to deliver winning solutions
  • Maintain knowledge of Space Force procurement trends and funding cycles
  • Conduct onsite visits and briefings at Government Facilities and System Integrator Sites.
  •  Will attend associated trade shows and events to market FedData
  • Pursue Contract Vehicles as a Prime and Subcontract/Supplier with System Integrators
Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Must have 5+ years of experience in IT Sales
  • 5+ years’ experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage the sales process and forecast sales.
  • Proven success in penetrating new markets and developing new business.
  • Ability to frequently travel both CONUS and OCONUS. 50 Percent Travel Expected.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns.
  • Planning, organization and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
  • Experience executing in person and remote sales calls.
  • Experience maintaining and tracking sales pipeline.
  • Experience building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Experience with hardware and software sales.

Working Conditions:

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

 

Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the work day.

 

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
