Timeline and Expectations

Werner Electric Supply will be posting the internship positions starting in late September which will run through the end of November.  We will be selecting candidates to move forward with from HR phone screen to virtual hiring manager interview during this time. 

Internship Program

  • Executive level mentorship and coaching
  • Company-sponsored project management/Lean Six Sigma training and certification 
  • Up to $19 per hour (dependent on year in college) 
  • Networking events with internal and external customers and your intern team 
  • Individual and group projects that drive change and impactful business results 
  • Large-scale Summer long projects in collaboration with fellow interns and business leaders 
  • Opportunity to shadow with various departments to help determine your career path 
  • Potential for year-long internships and full-time employment post-graduation

Job Summary

Gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the sales process by supporting our team in building strong customer relationships and providing high-quality service. This role offers a well-rounded exposure to sales operations, customer engagement, and product knowledge, setting you up for success in a career in sales

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Joint sales calls with Account Managers
  • Follow up sales support
  • Counter day events
  • Sales order entry & backorder follow up
  • Provide bid & quote assistance
  • Coordinate vendor purchases on direct & non-stock items
  • CRM support
  • Attend product trainings
  • Cycle counting at Appleton counter
  • Other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience: Enrolled in an accredited program pursuing a degree in sales, Marketing Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or another related field
