JOB SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of all products in the warehouse & making timely adjustments as needed. They will work with the warehouse team to achieve 97% or higher accuracy and are responsible for completing regular cycle counts, daily/weekly. They will work with the management team to secure the necessary procedures and labor to achieve the goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally team lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch.
- Frequently required to push/pull a ladder, ascend and/or descend ladder while holding packages.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb and balance.

- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
- Frequently required to communicate, exchange information, convey and express oneself with team members
- Occasionally required to operate, activate, inspect and use material handling lift equipment and machinery such as Little Joeys and Forklifts; office equipment such as copiers, computers and printers
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide regular daily organization of all inventory efforts required to achieve 97% or higher accuracy in the distribution center
- Responsible to ensure regular cycle counts (daily/weekly) and research all variances to determine the root cause & make any other adjustments needed that are found as a result of the cycle count variance.
- Work with Distribution Center Manager to secure necessary labor resources to accomplish goals.
- Monitor product left in all defined inventory staging areas and ensure it is under control according to company standards.
- Research all Shipping Error claims to determine validity and work with managers, supervisors and associates to continuously improve the process and provide employee feedback.
- Assist Operations Associates in locating missing or misplaced product.
- Maintain Missing Parts Rack & monitor MPRs in the other locations to ensure timely identification and disposition of product components.
- Research any inventory discrepancies that come up & make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain “In House” defective list and ensure needed deductions are completed timely.
- Process all “In House” & RGA defectives at month end and communicate Purchasing.
- Assist Operations team with any issues impacting the customer.
- Communicate & coordinate with teams outside of Operations on any inventory issues.
- Investigate discrepancies & make adjustments as timely & accurately as possible to lessen the impact to Sales/ Shipping.
- Keep 420 location product as organized as possible & build back what can be made into stocked items.
- Process intercompany transfers periodically to send non stock product to the warehouse that stocks it.

Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Basic knowledge of and ERP and/or WMS system a plus
- A minimum of 5 years supervisory experience or Team Lead in a high volume distribution center
- Must have the ability to lead, direct, and motivate people
- Must be able to work with other departments and be a team player
- Ability to treat all information as confidential and demonstrate a high level of ethics, trust and professionalism
- Strong Computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communications
- Must adhere to all safety and housekeeping policies and guidelines
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
