Important Job Functions

  • Leading and managing a claims team to ensure productivity and operational efficiency.  
  • Assist SRM team in Preventing, Investigating and Managing (PIM) claims
  • Maintain and update claims in the IMC claim system
  • Track and manage claim subrogation 
  • Negotiate and resolve property damage only claims 
  • Report claims to insurance companies as needed
  • Monitor insurance company progress on claims and report back to IMC
  • Assist with accident/incident reviews and accident/incident review letters
  • Conduct driver safety evaluations as needed and report to Claims Manager & EVP SRM (order current MVRs, etc.)
  • Perform monthly claim review with motor carrier safety personnel
  • Assign driver retraining as needed
  • Process driver performance bonuses as needed

Requirements

  • Experienced claim adjuster 2+ years
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Microsoft Outlook & Excel / Word proficiency
