About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, adaptable, and tech-savvy team member to join us part-time. This in-house role is key to ensuring smooth technical operations, onboarding support, website management, and digital optimization for our growing team. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in WordPress, understands SEO best practices, can troubleshoot technical issues, and is confident supporting employee onboarding and internal processes.
This is a W2 employee position based in Denver, Colorado. You’ll work three 8-hour days per week on-site, with flexible scheduling and the potential to grow into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Setup & IT Support
Assist with computer, software, and device setup for new and existing employees.
Troubleshoot common IT issues and provide reliable on-site tech support.
Ensure smooth operation of office technology (printers, email, video conferencing tools, etc.).
Employee Onboarding Support
Set up accounts, devices, and software access for new hires.
Maintain onboarding checklists, guides, and process documentation.
Ensure new employees have the tools and resources to be productive from day one.
Website & SEO Management
Update, edit, and maintain company website (WordPress expertise required).
Optimize website pages and content for SEO to improve search visibility.
Monitor site performance, troubleshoot errors, and recommend improvements.
Editing, Proofreading & Documentation
Review internal and external documents for accuracy, clarity, and professionalism.
Provide editing support for reports, communications, and presentations.
Create and maintain clear, user-friendly guides for processes and tech tools.
Collaboration & Initiative
Partner with internal teams to ensure technology and digital tools support business goals.
Identify and recommend process improvements, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency.
Take initiative to solve problems quickly and proactively support company growth.
Qualifications
Education
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Experience
2–4 years of experience in IT support, website management, or digital operations.
Advanced WordPress skills, including site management, updates, and optimization.
Proven SEO knowledge and experience improving online visibility.
Experience supporting employee onboarding and system setup.
Strong editing and proofreading experience (professional or academic).
Bonus: experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or other business productivity tools.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
WordPress site management and SEO optimization (required).
Familiarity with office IT systems (network setup, printers, conferencing tools).
Strong computer literacy with ability to learn new systems quickly.
Soft Skills
Organized and detail-oriented.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter who works well independently.
Dependable problem solver with a positive, team-focused attitude.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $25–$30/hr, depending on experience.
Hours: 24 hours/week, with potential to grow into full-time.
