Compensation:
- $94,185 to $127,910 annually
Role Overview:The IT Administrator role is designed to provide technical assistance to internal users and to support the administration of core IT systems. The individual in this position will respond to day-to-day support requests, assist with configuration and deployment of hardware/software, and support enterprise IT systems and cybersecurity initiatives in collaboration with IT team members.
The IT Administrator will provide ongoing analysis of the performance and function of the hardware and software tools they interact with and work with their supervisor to recommend improvements and implement any new initiatives or tools. They will also provide escalated end-user support for IT hardware and software issues.
Key Responsibilities:- User Support & Troubleshooting:
- Serve as a frontline resource for hardware and software support across the organization.
- Interact with staff using support tickets, phone, messaging, and remote tools in a professional and friendly manner.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to workstations, mobile devices, printers, applications, and connectivity.
- Document solutions and contribute to internal knowledge base content.
- System Support & Administration Assistance: The IT Administrator will be a global administrator for various IT platforms, including, but not limited to:
- Support IT Administrators in configuring, deploying, and maintaining IT hardware and software systems.
- Assist in:
- User account setup and access permissions.
- Software and OS patching.
- Asset tracking and equipment inventory.
- Managing Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).
- Updating technical documentation and checklists.
- Security & Compliance Support:
- Help implement and support basic cybersecurity practices including:
- Multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Device security policies.
- Routine audits and updates.
- Collaboration & Development:
- Work with IT and Security team members to improve processes and provide input on improvements to systems and user experience.
- Participate in team projects and initiatives to enhance IT and Security service delivery.
Required Qualifications:- Associate of Science in IT, Security, or a related technical field required. Bachelor of Science is preferred.
- At least one certification in a related area, such as Net+, Sec+, A+, CySA+.
- Minimum 3 years of experience related to user, hardware, and global administration in an enterprise environment.
- Advanced user of Windows, Apple, and Android hardware and operating systems.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin tools or Azure/Intune environments.
- Exposure with network troubleshooting, basic configuration (wired and wireless), and firewalls.
- Exposure to device or identity management platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:- Proficient in Office 365’s Outlook, Word, & Excel
- Clear and effective communicator, verbally and written.
- Comfortable leading calls to bring clear understanding to problems and the desired outcome.
Other Qualifications:- Successfully pass background check for cybersecurity access requirements.
Cybersecurity Role Expectations:- Candidate will be responsible for reviewing policies and procedures related to cybersecurity and those relevant to the functions of their role.
- Candidate is expected to maintain a cybersecure work environment.
Physical Requirements:- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Must be able to use hands to type, handle products, tools and navigate a computer keyboard.
- Must be able to view computer screen for extended periods of time.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
