We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Consumer Loan Processor to join our lending team. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely disbursement of consumer loans, including indirect contracts and Visa accounts. You'll play a key part in maintaining quality control, streamlining document workflows, and supporting our members with exceptional service.

Consumer Loan Processor

What You'll Do:

• Disburse approved consumer loans through core systems and lending LOS after verifying loan details.
• Perform pre-funding quality control for all indirect contracts and follow up with dealers for corrections.
• Open new share accounts for indirect members and finalize disbursement of indirect loan proceeds.
• Complete final quality control of funded consumer loans, ensuring documentation accuracy and completeness.
• Validate loan data in core systems and lending LOS.
• Manage electronic document workflows, including importing/exporting via LoansPQ and DocuSign.
• Investigate documentation errors, maintain error logs, and ensure timely resolution.
• Finalize verification of supporting documents (e.g., income proof, vehicle values, dealer worksheets).
• Scan and index paper loan documents, upload to Synergy, and confirm successful storage.
• Assist with Visa account booking and resolve member issues related to Visa.
• Cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Collaborate with departments such as Loan Servicing and Member Solutions.
• Stay informed on lending-related legislation and regulations.
• Support the credit union's mission by performing additional duties as requested.

What You Bring:

 Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

 Experience: 1–2 years in an office environment; minimum 6 months in loan processing preferred.

 Skills:

• Strong understanding of loan application and approval processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Familiarity with credit union products, services, and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and under general supervision.
