PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Senior Director, Strategy is a critical role within Inspire’s Commercial organization (Data & Analytics, Demand Generation, Digital Guest Experience). The position will lead the Strategy team - driving strategic planning across Commercial and Inspire more broadly, developing and operationalizing cross-functional strategic, transformational initiatives and process improvements, and supporting enterprise executive agendas and operations. Critical to establish influence, trust and strong business relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders. High exposure role with immediate impact to organization and overall performance of Commercial team. Best suited for strategic athlete, comfortable with a) ambiguity, b) fast pace and c) holds analytical rigor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning: Leadership in driving Inspire’s strategic planning; aid in defining, coordinating, prioritizing and facilitating strategic objectives across Inspire as we deliver upon our vision
- Inclusive of OKR planning across enterprise
- Identify capability gaps and advise where to start, stop, or continue investing to drive performance
- Monitor external trends and disruptions to shape Inspire’s long-term go-to-market strategy and unlock step-change growth
Strategic Initiatives: Partner with cross-functional partners in driving alignment, prioritization, coordination / interdependencies, resources and identifying risks of Commercial activities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables for strategic initiatives
- Serve as an internal consulting team to lead special strategic projects as needed by leadership
- Serve as leader for ad hoc projects or capabilities to build out as necessary and direction from Chief Restaurant & Commercial Officer
Commercial Change Management: Facilitate development and innovate solutions for transformation program strategy, governance, communications and ways of working across Commercial / Brands
- Identify, analyze, and evaluate existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization
Business Operations: Develop executive-level documents and manage leadership and management committee discussions

Bachelor’s Degree

MBA
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
Minimum 10 years of experience
Preferred historical experience includes:
- Strategic role at a large consumer brand, technology company
- Top-tier consulting firm with focus on consumer
- Investment banking
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with at all levels, across multiple functions, and drive participation and collaboration. Demonstrated ability in working with key executives and stakeholders to solve and drive business outcomes
- Strong project management skills in cross functional environments
- Experience in business model or process improvements, with understanding of agile ways of working preferred
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; comfortable with P&L workings and large sets
- Strong organizational abilities, including managing complex priorities and multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work independently. A self-starter that takes ownership of tasks and drives them forward without constant supervision
- Enjoys seeing impact of work in the organization, highly motivated and comfortable with ambiguity
- Thrives working in a fast-paced, constantly iterating environment. Flexibility and adaptability are key traits for success in this role
