The Opportunity:
Transport Cyber Security Services (TCS) is a premier, long-term contract with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA); the functional capabilities for which provide the information technology (IT) infrastructure services required to deliver timely, relevant, and accurate support of national security. Our TCS team provides innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment, and disposal of transport and cybersecurity IT services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide to support the NGA mission. CACI is seeking a Cyber Engineer to lead a fast-paced team provisioning customer dataflows in an Enterprise Cross Domain System.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily provisioning operations and service delivery, ensuring critical systems, applications, and infrastructure remain secure, reliable, and efficient. This includes managing incident response, troubleshooting escalated issues, and driving improvements in service levels.
2. Lead and develop a high-performing IT team by setting clear expectations, providing mentorship, and creating opportunities for professional growth. You will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
3. Drive continuous improvement and process optimization by identifying inefficiencies, leveraging automation, and tracking key performance indicators. You will champion the adoption of tools and practices that improve user experience and strengthen the organization’s overall technology posture.
4. Manage technology projects from planning through execution, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, mitigate risks, and ensure that outcomes meet business needs.
5. Gather and analyze customer and stakeholder requirements by engaging with end users, department leaders, and business partners to fully understand their needs. You will translate these requirements into clear technical specifications, ensuring that all solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with organizational objectives.
6. Lead technical exchange and knowledge-sharing meetings to facilitate collaboration between IT staff, business units, and external partners. These sessions will ensure alignment on project goals, promote cross-functional understanding, and create opportunities for team members to share expertise and best practices.
7. Coordinate implementation strategies and project timelines by working closely with technical teams and project managers to ensure smooth delivery of IT initiatives. You will align resources, manage dependencies, and maintain clear communication across stakeholders to keep projects on track and within scope.
8. Identify and resolve potential conflicts in the implementation of CDS technologies across the enterprise by proactively reviewing plans, assessing risks, and collaborating with stakeholders. You will ensure that new solutions integrate seamlessly with existing systems and processes, minimizing disruptions and maximizing value to the business.
9. Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, deliver technical presentations, effectively and accurately communicate technical information with co-workers and stakeholders
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance, ability to pass and maintain a Government Polygraph.
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and ten (10) years of applicable experience - DoD Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II.
- Experience with Linux operating systems; understanding of general operating system security practices, TCP/IP networking, and network security concepts
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity practices, data protection, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience managing cross-functional projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and delivering results

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
