Production Supervisor
Department: Production Location: Auburndale, FLPosition Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and overseeing all aspects of the juice production area from raw ingredients to final product packaging through certain equipment centers. Will include leadership responsibilities, including training and supervising a team of machine operators, troubleshooting equipment issues, and driving continuous improvement in production processes. Includes coordinating staff, equipment, and processes to meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards in a safe workplace.
Key Skills Required

- Must be able to read and write English.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for
- maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource management, leadership technique, and production methods.
- Must be familiar with computers and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Supervisory responsibility includes management of employee performance, training and development programs, corrective actions and effective communications with direct and indirect reports.
- Manage the daily operation of the production area by planning and establishing work schedules and assignments; monitoring and evaluating operations, programs, and processes for quality and effectiveness
- Promote a safe work environment by ensuring associates follow safety procedures, including utilizing proper safety equipment, maintaining work area, and addressing maintenance concerns in a timely manner.
- Embrace lean manufacturing techniques and work closely to implement such changes on a timely basis.
- Ensure compliance with departmental and company policies and procedures. GMP/HACCP/Food Safety Regulations
- Interprets, understands, and manages necessary reporting to effectively manage the shift.
- Meets production standards and KPI�s while ensuring quality products
- Effectively communicates and collaborates with the functional areas of operations such as Human Resources, Safety, Maintenance, Quality, Receiving, Shipping and others.
- Varies All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or GED required, Associates degree preferred.
- Knowledge of food and beverage industry, yields, and production processes.
- Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing operation, or an equivalent required.
- Knowledge of GMP/HACCP/Juice Process preferred
- Equipment Center Knowledge � Filler, Sleevers, Tray Packers, Palletizers
- Forklift Certification preferred
