Job Description:
Hanwha Vision America is seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Technical Solutions Trainer to support the development and communication of technical knowledge across our organization. In this hybrid role, you will create and deliver high-quality training programs while producing accurate and user-friendly documentation for a wide range of audiences. This position reports to the Knowledge Manager and plays a critical role in onboarding, enablement, and the long-term success of our internal teams and customer base.
Responsibilities:
Content Development and Delivery
Develop and maintain knowledge assets, such as knowledge base articles, LMS content, and internal training guides.
Collaborate with Product Management to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for customer facing technical teams covering installation procedures, system configuration, and troubleshooting.
Create and conduct interactive training scenarios to simulate real-world issues, guide employees through step-by-step troubleshooting resolutions, and reinforce best practices.
Identify knowledge gaps by monitoring support metrics and trends to drive future training initiatives.
Document Management
Ensure documentation accuracy by validating procedures correctly reflect product functionality and updates.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Technical Support, to gather source information and stay current on product updates and upcoming releases.
Regularly audit existing documentation for accuracy, relevance, and readability; update as needed.
Respond to feedback from internal users and customers to continuously improve documentation usability.
Quality Assurance
Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires and upskill sessions for existing team members.
Create and administer evaluations and hands-on practical assessments to measure training effectiveness.
Maintain and track training records, certification status, and technical competencies to ensure compliance and development goals are met.
Skills and Work Experience:
3-5 years of experience developing and delivering Technical Training
Proven experience in instructional design, content creation, and learner assessment.

Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to deadlines.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize documentation needs effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and documentation tools.
1-2 years of experience as a Technical Writer (Preferred)
Intermediate understanding of Change Management processes. (Preferred)
Experience in Zendesk, Service Now, or other Ticketing/Knowledge Systems. (Preferred)
Minimum 2 years of experience within the security industry for IP cameras, NVRs and VMS software. (Preferred)
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
· Prolonged sitting and/or standing for long periods of time
· Ability to lift 25lbs occasionally
· Occasional Travel to Hanwha Office locations for training
· Occasional Travel to trade shows
· Perform activities on the computer for a minimum of 8 hours
· Ability to perform physical installation of products occasionally
