About the Role:
The Operations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless and efficient functioning of manufacturing operations within the durable goods sector. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in durable goods.
- Demonstrated high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and process documentation tools.
- Experience with training program development and delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with credit unions or financial institutions in an operational capacity.
- Advanced knowledge of mitigation strategies and risk management in manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Additional certifications in operations management or process improvement.
- Experience working in or near Elk Point, SD, or familiarity with regional manufacturing practices.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor daily manufacturing operations to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Develop, document, and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures to support operational consistency.
- Coordinate and deliver training programs to enhance team capabilities and ensure compliance with operational protocols.
- Utilize data analysis and reporting tools, including PowerPoint, to communicate operational performance and improvement opportunities to stakeholders.
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and maintain smooth workflow.
- Collaborate with credit union partners and internal teams to manage financial and operational transactions related to manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a highly organized approach to multitasking across various operational projects and initiatives.
