Job Summary:
Reviews signed loan packages and signed note modification packages for completeness and accuracy. Responsible for processing all loan tickets associated with new loans and note modifications. Responsible for indexing all loans on the document imaging system and for collateral tracking loan documents.
General Description/Duties:
- Process signed loan packages and signed note modification packages and process loan tickets appropriately.
- Review non-real estate loan documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to uploading.
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of the collateral tracking & document imaging system.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of loan tickets; assists others with questions & training.
- Maintains thorough communication with loan processing staff.
- Serves as a backup for loan processing staff.
- Produce loan documentation according to Bank guidelines and Federal/State regulations.
- Ensure lending staff is following Bank policy and properly documenting any exceptions.
- Acts as a liaison between lender, appraisal department and attorney as necessary.
- Review existing loan files for documentation deficiencies during processing of an associated new loan request.
- Assist lending staff with clearing of documentation exceptions.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all applicable State and Federal regulatory and compliance laws and regulations.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Bank policy and procedure.
- Field incoming calls for customer service.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Prior loan documentation experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage frequent change.
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines effectively and efficiently.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills and abilities.
- Detailed oriented and accurate in work product.
- Customer service focused with timely response and follow-up.
- Ability to ensure compliance with established Bank policies and procedures.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite or other related software.
