About the role

The Sales Associate at Summerset Marine Construction is a vital contributor to the growth of our luxury pier and boatlift sales. This role entails actively engaging with customers to understand their needs, offering tailored solutions, preparing detailed proposals, and collaborating with the production team to ensure timely and satisfactory product delivery. The Sales Associate is essential in meeting sales targets while delivering outstanding customer service.


What you'll do

  • Engage with high-end clientele to understand their waterfront needs and provide expert recommendations.
  • Drive grassroots efforts to acquire new customers and expand the customer base.
  • Sales growth through proactive customer outreach, networking, and relationship building.
  • Develop deep product knowledge of luxury piers and boat lifts, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Create detailed proposals including pricing, product specifications, and installation timelines.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales performance.
  • Deliver outstanding service before, during, and after the sale to foster long-term relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Proven sales experience, ideally in the marine industry or a related field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage affluent customers.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of boats, watercraft, and waterfront structures is a plus.
  • Valid Drivers license.
