Grainger Corporate Services LLC is seeking a Software Engineer in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field plus 5 years related experience. Prior experience must include: Gain foundational knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) through hands-on projects and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, with practical experience in core services like EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC, emphasizing security and scalability; Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, and develop custom Python scripts for system monitoring and routine operational tasks; Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as CircleCI and GitHub to streamline application deployment and integration workflows; Provide AWS support by troubleshooting cloud resource issues, resolving networking problems, and addressing application deployment challenges. Up to 20% domestic travel required. 100% remote work allowed from anywhere in the U.S.

Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $154,000.00 to $164,000.00, which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion at any time, consistent with applicable law.
