Job Summary:

We're looking for a skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

• Reports to Supply Technologies Director of Infrastructure and Security
• On-call after hours for support of critical IT issues

Must-Have Skills and Experience

Technical Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT networking or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT networking, server management, and desktop systems.

Server/Network Support:

• Administer Active Directory Windows servers, including hardware, OS, DHCP, Event Logs, and Services.
• VMware ESXi Infrastructure and virtualization of servers
• Maintain and monitor tape backups and manage the rotation of backup tapes for servers.
• Develop and maintain system, network, procedural, and end-user documentation.
• Ensure fully functional LAN/WAN communications
• Manage network Firewalls and Switches.
• Maintain wireless access points and connectivity.
• Administer network printers.

User Support (Tier 3):

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution for hardware, software, and service issues that have been escalated from lower support tiers.
• Assist users with the use of equipment and applications, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
• Offer expert support for printer, scanner, storage, and other peripheral setup and issues, including advanced configuration and integration.
• Support remote users with VPN connectivity, addressing advanced connectivity issues and ensuring secure access.

Exchange Online/Outlook Email Administration:

• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes by configuring user accounts, permissions, and access to network resources.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services, including user and license management across Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Oversee mailbox provisioning, retention policies, and email flow rules within Exchange Online.
• Manage Microsoft Teams settings, security, and compliance, including team creation policies and external access.
• Monitor and troubleshoot M365 service health, addressing incidents and coordinating with Microsoft support when necessary.
• Assist users with Teams meetings, chat, and collaboration features, including guest access and integrations.
• Perform regular reviews of permissions and access to ensure adherence to security best practices within M365 applications.
• Manage user email local archive maintenance and restoration.

Security Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect network infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Manage firewall configurations and updates.
• Maintain and update antivirus and anti-malware software.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project implementations, integrating new hardware and software with existing infrastructure.
• Maintain hardware, device, component, and part stocks for computers and other electronic devices.
• Ensure proper recycling of obsolete hardware components.
• Maintain an ongoing inventory of hardware, software, and licenses.
• Ensure accurate software licensing levels are maintained for the location.
• Support phone, voicemail, and other voice and data communication systems, including company cell phones.

• Fortinet Switches (integrated connectivity and VLAN management)
• Fortinet Wireless Access Points (enterprise-grade Wi-Fi deployment, security, and management)
