The Senior Director, Strategy and Operations will have purview over our finance/operations team, focused on consolidating operational performance, financial pacing and forecasting, and developing new framework for analysis as we build into our new advertising & product experiences.
This leader will work in partnership with our advertising, product, and integrated partnerships teams to develop new frameworks for performance measurement of the holistic MyMove business as our advertising & product experiences evolve.
This role will be based in our South Charlotte headquarters four days per week and work fully remotely on Fridays.
What You'll Do:
- Own MyMove financials, including monthly reporting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Lead operating meeting cadences and ensure leadership has clear visibility into performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Gain a deep understanding of the MyMove business model across advertising, product, integrated partners, and USPS.
- Translate this knowledge into actionable insights, partnership opportunities, and operational improvements.
- Act as a thought partner to cross-functional leaders, bringing a financial and commercial lens to new initiatives and go-to-market strategy.
- Help shape new partnership opportunities and refine our GTM approach for long-term growth.
- Develop new frameworks for measuring performance, evolving from siloed reporting to a holistic, full-funnel view of user engagement, operational health, and financial outcomes.
- Define KPIs and dashboards that create clarity for leadership and drive accountability across teams.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing finance/operations team.
- Foster a culture of clarity, innovation, and inclusivity, while holding the team accountable to ambitious goals.
What We're Looking For:
- 7+ years of experience in finance, strategy, business operations, or consulting, ideally in digital product, advertising, or marketplace environments.
- Strong track record in financial planning, reporting, and forecasting, with comfort operating at both strategic and detailed levels.
- Experience developing frameworks and KPIs that connect user engagement, operational health, and financial performance.
- Demonstrated success as a cross-functional partner — influencing product, marketing, and partnership teams with data-driven insights.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with a motivational, servant-leadership style.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence executives and simplify complex concepts.
- Comfortable in dynamic, fast-changing environments; bias for action with the ability to learn quickly and adapt.
Preferred Experience
- Background in digital advertising, marketplace, or subscription businesses.
- Exposure to partnership management (integrated or government-related partnerships a plus).
Compensation:
- Cash Compensation Range: $175,000 - $250,000 per year
