Job Summary: As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact between our customers and the service department. Your role will involve understanding customer concerns, recommending services, and ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.
• Listen to customer concerns and provide accurate advice on vehicle issues.
• Create detailed service orders and communicate necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Provide cost estimates and obtain customer approvals for service work.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure the timely completion of services.
• Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a service advisor or in a customer service role in the automotive industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain technical information to customers clearly and understandably.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in using automotive service software and tools, especially CDK, preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with 6 points or less and no major violations in the past 3 years.
