We are looking for a talented and versatile Graphic Designer to join our creative team, bringing visual ideas to life that strengthen our storytelling, brand presence, and audience engagement.
Position Overview
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating compelling visuals that support Sportico’s editorial stories, social media presence, event experiences, and overall brand identity. This role is ideal for a designer who is passionate about sports, media, and design innovation, with a keen eye for consistency and creativity across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Story Art: Design engaging visuals to accompany daily editorial content.
- Story Art Templates: Develop reusable, flexible templates that ensure a consistent and polished look across stories.
- Social Media Graphics: Create custom artwork and design templates tailored for various platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) to maximize engagement.
- Event Branding: Produce graphics and visual materials for Sportico events, including logos, signage, presentations, and digital assets.
- Brand Refresh & Synergy: Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Sportico’s visual identity, ensuring consistency and cohesion across editorial, events, and digital content.
- Collaboration: Work closely with editorial, marketing, and events teams to understand design needs and deliver creative solutions.
- Quality & Timeliness: Balance creativity with efficiency to deliver high-quality assets under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2–4 years of professional graphic design experience (media, publishing, or sports industry experience preferred).
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills across digital, social, and print applications.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); experience with motion graphics or video editing is a plus.
- Knowledge of current design trends, social media best practices, and audience engagement strategies.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for sports and storytelling is highly desirable.

As PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.
Typical wage range: $70k - $80k. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.
