- Develop and execute the strategic vision and operating plan to achieve and grow leadership annual giving ensuring alignment with the broader goals of the Holy Cross Annual Fund and Advancement overall.
- Oversee all leadership annual giving strategies, track and assess progress towards fundraising goals, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
- Supervise and mentor a team of leadership annual fund officers and support staff, including hiring, training and development, workflow, and performance management. Provide guidance on best practices for donor engagement, solicitation strategies, and stewardship.
- Lead leadership annual giving efforts, cultivating relationships with current and potential donors. Manage a portfolio of 75-100 high-capacity prospects and lead solicitations for unrestricted gifts of all sizes.
- Oversee the President’s Council, Holy Cross’ premier annual giving society which recognizes alumni, parents and friends for their philanthropic leadership and all leadership annual giving strategies.
- Collaborate closely with leaders across the organization to support pipeline development and align fundraising strategies with institutional priorities.
- Partner with the Planned Giving team to identify and incorporate estate giving into solicitation strategies as appropriate.
- Monitor and report on fundraising progress, using data analytics and metrics to assess trends, refine strategies, and enhance future efforts. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on leadership annual fund performance.
- Attend a variety of events throughout the year. Regular travel and occasional night and weekend work are required.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. At least five years of experience in annual giving fundraising, preferably at an educational institution;

- A demonstrated successful track record as an annual giving fundraiser;
- An appreciation of Jesuit Catholic educational traditions and methodology;
- an understanding of and an ability to succeed at a complex academic institution;
- an ability to uncover interests, motivations, and objectives from prospective donors, clients, and others;
- excellent communication skills, including an ability to write persuasively and with efficiency;
- experience in frontline fundraising with the expertise to manage a portfolio of leadership annual giving prospects and collaborate with colleagues across the organization.

- excellent active listening and interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to donors, volunteers, and colleagues;
