Your JobKoch Equity Development (“KED”) is seeking a Summer 2027 Investment Analyst Intern.  KED interns benefit from direct mentorship from full-time analysts and associates, while gaining real-world experience working on active deals.  As an Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in the underwriting, financial modeling, and due diligence for potential investments.Our TeamKED is the principal investment and acquisition arm of Koch Industries, Inc. Since 2012, KED has deployed more than $40 billion in equity investments and acquisitions.  With revenues that have exceeded $125 billion Koch companies employ about 120,000 worldwide, with nearly half of those in the United States.What You Will DoAssisting in the underwriting, financial modeling, and due diligence for equity investments and acquisitionsPreparing presentations on potential transactions and investments for senior management that identify and assess valuation, return profile, competitive advantage, risks, etc.Performing industry research and competitive analysis related to potential investmentsWorking with KED portfolio companies to enhance profitability alongside KED’s commercial excellence capabilityParticipating in discussions with senior members of the KED teamAssuming responsibility for 100% compliance with the laws, regulations, company policy, and industry standards applicable to this roleWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Eligible for full-time employment no later than Summer 2028Enrolled in a degree or certificate program related to Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Risk Management, Investments, Mathematics, or a related fieldAble to work in the US without sponsorshipWhat Will Put You AheadStrong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skillsStrong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skillsCollaborative and a team playerSelf-starter, highly focused and ability to work independentlyEntrepreneurial spirit, creative, and ability to think outside the boxHunger to learn with a strong sense of intellectual curiosity and passion for investingIntegrity and a strong sense of ethicsInterest in or experience with investingAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
