Description

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Business Unit Coordinator to join our growing team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational excellence by coordinating logistics, managing dispatch operations, overseeing vendor partnerships, and optimizing delivery systems. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, solutions-driven, and committed to delivering exceptional service.


Key Responsibilities

· Ensure all Business Unit performance metrics are achieved and maintained.

· Monitor customer service interactions to ensure professionalism, technical accuracy, and adherence to company policies.

· Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to team members to support development and performance.

· Contribute to building and maintaining a high-performing, service-focused team.

· Lead improvement initiatives related to sourcing, dispatch, and logistics processes.

· Review and analyze transportation and financial data to support planning, budgeting, and policy development.

· Collaborate with sales, operations, and customers to coordinate scheduling and resolve service-related issues.

· Respond promptly to escalated concerns, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining strong customer relationships.

· Develop contingency plans with regional leadership to address unexpected operational challenges such as equipment breakdowns, weather delays, or spikes in demand.

· Work flexible hours, including occasional after-hours or on-call responsibilities, as business needs require.

Requirements

  

· 3+ years of experience in a coordinator or supervisory role.

· Demonstrated ability to foster a positive and professional work environment.

· Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.

· Proven decision-making and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think both strategically and tactically.

· Effective written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn new software applications.

· Geographic knowledge of service areas or strong map-reading/navigation skills.

· Experience in logistics or dispatch operations is preferred but not required.
