 The Product Safety & Compliance Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and advising the Global Compliance team. This position is responsible for interpreting regulatory requirements, evaluating compliance risks, and making recommendations to ensure the company’s alignment to product safety and regulatory standards.

Interpret evolving compliance requirements and facilitate their implementation with internal teams and retail partners, including monitoring relevant federal and state regulatory changes (e.g., state energy efficiency requirements) and conducting periodic audits to ensure ongoing alignment

  • Exercise independent judgement in evaluating incoming compliance data from third-party partners; determine appropriate follow-up actions or escalation
  • Manage and maintain compliance documentation and databases, including product incident data; analyze post-market performance to identify and evaluate potential safety or quality concerns
  • Lead collaboration between the Global Compliance and Customer Service teams to address consumer inquiries related to regulatory requirements, product permitting documentation, etc.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance compliance processes and operational efficiency

  • Skilled in managing multiple tasks and maintaining organized workflows
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to support process improvement initiatives
  • Professional discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and compliance tracking tools

  

Required Education and Experience:

  • At least 2-3 years related product safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, or legal experience required
  • Manufacturing or retail compliance experience preferred
