Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

Location: Orlando, FL

Department: Purchasing

Reports to: SR Manager of Heavy Maintenance and Repair

FLSA: Non-Exempt


Summary: The Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for managing and optimizing the procurement, logistics, and inventory functions within National Airlines’ supply chain operations. This role ensures the timely and cost-effective movement of materials and parts necessary for aircraft maintenance, operations, and other business functions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in supply chain or logistics management within the aviation industry.

Position Expectations:

  • Coordinate the procurement and distribution of aircraft parts, equipment, and supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical materials.
  • Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Track shipments, manage logistics partners, and ensure on-time delivery of materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.
  • Manage vendor invoices, ensuring accurate processing, verification, and timely payment.
  • Work directly with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Support contract negotiations with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to supply chain operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with the AOG Desk, Repair, and Heavy Maintenance teams and operations teams to forecast supply needs and minimize downtime.
  • Analyze data and generate reports on supply chain performance and cost analysis.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the aviation or logistics industry.
  • Knowledge of aviation supply chain regulations and procurement best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, telephone, copy machine/printer.
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
  • Light to moderate lifting up to 10 pounds.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e., business offices with computers, phones, printers, and overhead lights).
  • Ability to work in a confined office or open cubicle environment
