Convert enquiries into unforgettable events. Champion service from first call to final booking.
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-driven Sales Development Representative (Meeting & Events) to join our national sales team - someone who thrives on creating seamless booking experiences and building strong relationships with clients.
As Hub expands into the Perth market, this role will be based in Perth and play a key part in driving bookings for our serviced meetings and events spaces. You’ll be the first point of contact for inbound event and meeting enquiries, qualifying leads, managing the sales process, and helping clients bring their ideas to life - whether it’s a quick team meeting or a major corporate function.
If you're passionate about hospitality, love working behind the scenes to make big things happen, and have a knack for juggling detail and deadlines, this could be the perfect role for you.
Qualifications:What your day-to-day will look like (but not limited to!):
- Be the first point of contact for all meetings and events enquiries, providing quick, accurate, and warm responses.
- Manage the full sales process - qualify leads, build proposals, convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Upsell catering, technology, and add-on services to maximise the value of each booking.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure event handovers are smooth and executed to standard.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system (HubSpot), including enquiries, proposals, and billing details.
- Support national inbound calls and email inboxes related to meeting and event sales.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to improve the sales experience and materials.
- Represent Hub with confidence, hospitality, and a solution-oriented mindset.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has 2+ years’ experience in a sales, coordination, or hospitality-focused role (events or venue experience a plus).
- Is a natural communicator - comfortable on the phone, in person, and over email.
- Brings energy, responsiveness, and strong follow-through to every interaction.
- Has a proactive approach to sales, with the ability to manage and convert inbound leads.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and can juggle multiple priorities with ease.
- Is excited about helping launch and grow Hub’s presence in Perth through meaningful client connections.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRMs is desirable but not essential.
Why you should join us:
- Play a key role in growing Hub’s meetings & events presence in Perth.
- Be part of a collaborative and supportive national sales team.
- Be part of a growing, purpose-led team at a certified Great Place to Work™, B Corp, and carbon-neutral business.
- Access great perks like a Wellness Fund, paid volunteer leave, and your birthday off.
- Work with passionate teammates who exemplify our values: Hospitality First, Lead with Impact, Elevate Everyday, Make Things Happen.
