Sensitive Compartmented Information

Duties

You will prepare security reports, maintain files of raw or abstracted data, and collect material for security briefings.,You will prepare and coordinate NIFR facility accreditation documentation and site inspections with NIFR SSO and SSO Navy as required and in accordance with ICD-705.,You will oversee personnel security process for command members to include: performing Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) indoctrination for employees and update the Reserve Force Personnel Security Collaboration Tool (RPSEC).,You will oversee the site Information Security (INFOSEC) Program, and Communication Security (COMSEC), coordinating or performing functions and tasks associated with the development, evaluation, implementation, and execution of the programs.,You will contribute to the development and evaluation of current and proposed security protection systems to ensure that information, equipment, facilities and personnel are protected against possible compromise, sabotage, theft or terrorism.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-09) in the federal service. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting investigations of personnel and physical security incidents to include initial reporting and documenting findings in accordance with policy. Identifying protection measures and operational efficiency and effectiveness for personnel, information and physical security programs in accordance with regulations and directives (ICD 704/705). Maintaining files of raw or abstracted data and collecting material for security briefings. Preparing security reports, correspondence, studies, and messages in final form for inclusions into files and or to customers. Executing policies and procedures required to manage Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
