As a Service Coordinator, you play a central role in ensuring the smooth operation, monitoring, and maintenance of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Power-to-Gas (P2G) systems. You support the Technical Asset Managers in customer interactions and contribute to delivering a high level of customer service. Additionally, you assist the engineering team with ongoing software developments and provide feedback to improve internal processes and service delivery.
What a typical day looks like
- Monitoring & Alarm Response: Perform continuous monitoring of BESS and P2G systems, prompt response to alarms, and participation in on-call duty shifts , including evenings, weekends, and public holidays are key parts of your role
- Customer Support: You serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and provide technical assistance
- Maintenance Coordination: You coordinate maintenance work and oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring quality standards, completeness, accurate billing, and proper documentation, thereby ensuring smooth operations
- Incident Management & Documentation: You independently manage incident tracking, documentation, and escalations using Salesforce, Jira, and CMMS. systems
- Performance Evaluation & Reporting: Reporting, handling technical escalations, and driving process improvements to enhance service quality are also part of your responsibilities
Your Skills
- Technical Expertise: Technical education in electrical engineering or a related field. , Hands-on experience in monitoring of renewable energy systems is desirable
- Working Style: Analytical thinking, team-oriented, and a solution-focused approach
- Flexibility: Residence in Kassel or willingness to relocate is preferred; flexible for shift work, on-call duties, and travel when required
- Language & Mobility: Excellent German and English language skills (written and spoken), and a valid EU Class B driver’s license required
