First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Residential Lending Funder to join our Residential Fulfillment Center. The Residential Lending Funder is responsible for executing all aspects of residential loan remittance processing, with a primary focus on funding conventional and simple residential first and second mortgage loans, as well as home equity lines of credit. This role ensures that loans are funded accurately, timely, and in full compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and investor requirements. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), and the ability to manage high volumes of work while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. The Residential Lending Funder plays a critical role in the post-closing process, ensuring the integrity and completeness of all loan funding activities.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Work hours may vary)
Compensation:
The hourly pay range for this role is $19.25 - $26.50/hr; commensurate with experience; plus incentives.
The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree in business, accounting, related field, or equivalent work experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred.
1 year of experience in mortgage banking or accounting preferred.
Working knowledge of personal computers.
Ability to work with word processing and spreadsheet applications is essential.
Must be organized and detail oriented.
Must be able to work under pressure and able to meet deadlines.
Must be analytical in approach to problem solving, able to logically organize and resolve issues.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Strong accounting & bookkeeping skills.
