Chassis & Trailer Technician Instructor bei Lincoln Technical Institute, Inc.

Lincoln Tech is hiring skilled Chassis & Trailer Technician to be Instructors in our custom partnership program. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in welding, refrigeration unit service and repair, and container and chassis repair and maintenance. You will also be responsible for providing guidance and mentorship to other team members, ensuring they are trained to the highest level of proficiency.

Responsibilities of a Chassis & Trailer Technician Instructor: 

• Utilize approved course materials and teaching methods
• Communicate and enforce school policies; advise students on attendance, grades, and discipline
• Maintain containers and chassis to safety standards
• Provide mentorship and training to team members
• Facilitate student-centered learning and deliver objectives
• Adhere to compliance with teaching methods and materials
• Enforce policies, advise on academics, and maintain records
• Develop learning aids and assessments; enrich teaching with personal experience
• Collaborate with departments to support goals
• Motivate students with professionalism and adjust to their learning styles
• Keep accurate records of attendance and grades, and address management concerns
• Offer academic support, tutoring, and skills enhancement
• Assist in developing learning aids and assessments
• Participate actively with WFL and partner departments to support goals
• Demonstrate professionalism and sensitivity to motivate students

Requirements of a Chassis & Trailer Technician Instructor:

• 5+ years' experience in:
  • Welding - certification preferred
  • Trailer / Chassis repair and maintenance
• Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Up to 50% travel Monday - Friday
• Ability to obtain TWIC card

Certifications Preferred:

• IICL
• FMCSA
• Refrigerant Handling license
• Welding certification
