Primary Objective:
The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This role requires a dynamic leader with deep expertise in modern marketing practices, a passion for building impactful brands, and the ability to align marketing strategies with broader business objectives.
Responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with the executive and business teams to uncover insights that shape marketing and branding strategies for existing and new products.
- Lead development of comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with short- and long-term business goals.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion, revenue generation, and brand differentiation.
- Analyze market research, forecasts, competitive landscape, and consumer trends to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Marketing Management
- Oversee the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, print, SEO, social media, PR, and event channels.
- Manage the development of compelling content and creative assets to clearly communicate brand value across all touchpoints.
- Lead the creation and implementation of go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and promotional campaigns.
- Evaluate campaign performance through KPIs, reporting, and optimization for improved ROI and customer engagement.
Team Leadership and Development
- Build and grow a results-driven marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and accountability.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance check-ins to align objectives, provide guidance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide leadership, training, and support to ensure team members perform above expectations and develop professionally.
Budget & Resource Management
- Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to financial goals.
- Forecast and report on marketing spend, P&L projections, and campaign ROI.
- Identify future resource and scheduling needs to support company growth and scalability.
Stakeholder Engagement & External Presence
- Serve as the marketing liaison to key internal stakeholders, providing updates on strategy, performance, and pipeline impact.
- Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and oversee preparation of promotional materials and post-event analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media, PR contacts, and strategic partners to amplify brand visibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Proven success in building and executing cross-channel marketing strategies that drive growth.
- Strong understanding of digital, print, content, and social media marketing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to use data and analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and inform strategic direction.
- Demonstrated experience in budget planning and financial oversight.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, CMS systems, and design software.
- Established network of media and PR relationships is a plus.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
