JOB SUMMARY
An Account Manager will focus on identifying areas of opportunity and growth in Commercial purpose loan originations. They will identify areas of opportunity for strategic brand awareness in the Commercial lending space with a focus on sales revenue keeping the company’s core values at top of mind. This role requires a persuasive and strong business acumen as well as excellent communication and underwriting skills. An exceptional Account Manager should be able to multitask between clients, external and internal business partners and team leads to establish strategic relationships with other industry experts.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
•    Develop relationships for commercial real estate loans and help to increase client base of commercial real estate loan brokers and borrowers.
•    Analyzing the prospective sponsor’s commercial real estate loan application and its ability to repay the loan in a timely manner.
•    Determining the sponsor’s eligibility based on credit history, analyzing financial assets and evaluating net worth as it relates to the request loan.
•    Discover people and businesses who need loans from a non-bank lender.
•    Visit potential subject properties.
•    Collection and review of relevant underwriting documents.
•    Ongoing communication with the sponsor during the term of the loan to ensure the successful exit of the BridgeCo loan.
•    Guide clients through the origination and underwriting process required for acquiring a loan.
•    Understanding and explaining the terms and conditions of the loan to the applicant.
•    Recommending approval or disapproval of the loan application based on the information provided by the business and the data uncovered during the application process.

SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
•    Self-starter with strong initiative, ability to work productively in an unstructured work environment.
•    Sound knowledge about commercial real estate loans and procedures relating to commercial lending industry and current status of our economy.
•    Ability to evaluate the financial situation of a client and their ability to repay the loan.
•    Diverse communication and leadership skills.
•    Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
•    Highly detailed and analytical thinking; relying on logic and critical thinking when evaluating the reported financial information.
•    Ability to maintain long term relationships with clients.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
•    Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
•    Preferred – Minimum 2 years related work experience.
•    Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.

ABILITIES REQUIRED
•    Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
•    Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently  
•    Access to reliable transportation  
•    Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
•    Could involve some lifting up to 20 pounds
•    Ability to sit for extended periods of time without much movement
•    Ability to work in time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines
•    All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English
