Position Snapshot
The Event Marketing Manager drives the success of Paradigm’s conferences and events, one of our most critical brand channels. This high-visibility role requires a high level of attention to detail, agility, and exceptional communication to ensure every event delivers a flawless experience. The role requires actively managing all moving parts, communicating clearly with the team and outside partners, and ensuring Paradigm is always represented at the highest level. Supported by trusted partners and systems, the Event Marketing Manager owns the entire event lifecycle. From planning to post-conference follow-up, this role anticipates needs, solves problems before they escalate, and ensures every detail is executed to the highest standard. The individual in this role thrives under pressure, takes full responsibility for outcomes, and consistently elevates Paradigm’s brand presence. Given the impact of conferences on Paradigm's brand, we expect a high standard of execution for every single event. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee all conference materials to ensure timely ordering, delivery, and inventory management in coordination with logistics partners
- Serve as the primary contact between Paradigm and conference organizers, ensuring clear communication and seamless coordination
- Manage attendee registration and oversee travel logistics, including flights, hotels, and transportation
- Prepare and submit speaker applications, securing speaking opportunities at Paradigm-sponsored trade shows
- Plan and deliver hospitality events (e.g., receptions, VIP dinners) for sponsored events that enhance conference impact
- Support Paradigm team members by ensuring they have necessary materials (decks, collateral, swag, lead-gen tools) and coordinate outreach to prospects/customers to schedule pre-event meetings
- Manage conference workflows in project management tools (e.g., Asana) to ensure tasks are documented, tracked, and completed
- Proactively analyze performance and recommend improvements to enhance engagement and event outcomes
- Oversee timely preparation and scheduling of conference-related social media posts
- Ensure smooth execution of post-conference follow-up, including oversight of automated processes and manual tasks as needed
- Remain available to address urgent conference issues (e.ge, collateral, onsite challenges, payments, etc.) during outside regular working hours as needed
- Approximately up to 30% annual travel to conferences, representing Paradigm with professionalism onsite
Experience and Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing-driven event planning (preferably in B2B marketing)
- Experience in the Healthtech and/or home care industries is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with experience developing event KPIs and ROI measurements
- Proven ability to think quickly and resolve issues under tight deadlines
- In-depth knowledge of the full event lifecycle
- Experience managing email campaigns, CRM systems, and project management platforms
- Working knowledge in preparing and securing speaker submissions
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience holding event attendees accountable for budgets, activities and presence
- World-class project management and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across all departments
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred; Candidates with equivalent professional experience are also strongly encouraged to apply.
- Coursework or certifications in project management, digital marketing, or event management (e.g., CMP, CEM or PMP credentials) is a plus

Compensation
$75,000-$85,000 depending on experience
