In this role, you'll:
Working as part of the Road Design South hub within Infrastructure Project & Engineering division producing road designs, providing expertise, and resolving difficult design problems related to the road infrastructure. Collaborating with Transport Planners, Traffic Modellers and Project Management teams to plan and manage road design options.
This role will see you leading tasks and supporting regional NSW infrastructure projects improving safety on NSW roads, easing traffic congestions, creating new spaces to connect communities for generations to come. We are a dedicated and passionate team that is proud of the work we do and the supportive and flexible team culture we have built.
Position based in TfNSW Wollongong Office.

About you
You are passionate about Road Design with experience in the design of roads and related structures within infrastructure projects and have the following:
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Knowledge of Transport for NSW (formally RMS) standards.
• Proficiency in OpenRoads / 12D / Civil 3D
• Be willing to undertake and complete Road Safety Auditor training.
• Possess a current and valid Australian motor vehicle driver license and willingness to work outside normal working hours and travel on occasion.
