About the Role:

The Project Manager will partner with cross-functional stakeholders and the ML team to deliver the full container audit, establish a centralized system of record, and document redundancies, ownership, and business purpose. They will also drive alignment on a new framework, operating model, and prioritized execution plan that incorporates automation, personalization, and brand voice consistency.

This role ensures that a one-time, high-impact reset is delivered on schedule, unlocking scale, speed, and efficiencies through smarter automation, while positioning containers to better feed personalization and drive performance.

Contract Duration: 3-6 months

What You'll Do:

  • Establish Centralized Systems & Accountability
    • Evolve the centralized tracking system for container purpose, ownership, update history, and performance.
    • Define processes for accountability and ensure all containers are tagged with clear business purpose and status.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment
    • Gather inputs from stakeholders across Content, Creative Studio, CRM, Product, SEO, Metadata, Machine Learning, and Marketing.
    • Partner with the ML team to ensure the reset aligns with new ranking logic, DCN, and contextual bandit models.
    • Develop an operating model for container ownership, governance, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Audit Completion & Documentation
    • Deliver a full inventory and classification of all containers, identifying redundancies, obsolete assets, and contractual obligations.
    • Ensure Creative Studio collaboration to update names and descriptions, strengthening voice, tone, and brand clarity.
    • Document findings in a format that feeds both immediate fixes and long-term strategy.
  • Strategy Reset & Framework Delivery
    • Develop and deliver principles and a JTBD (jobs-to-be-done) framework that unify container evaluation.
    • Draft an execution plan and prioritized “menu of containers” that will scale with automation and personalization.
    • Ensure the framework reduces manual curation while enabling ML-driven optimization.
  • Enable Performance & Future Growth
    • Partner with ML and Data Science to connect containers to performance measurement (TVT, clicks, conversions).
    • Incorporate learnings from early successes (e.g., Leaving Soon) into broader rollout.
    • Produce final report and handoff package that enables teams to execute, test, and learn at scale.

Your Background:

  • 10–15 years of experience in project or program management, with expertise in digital media, content operations, or product strategy.
  • Proven record of driving complex, cross-functional projects to completion within short timelines.
  • Experience partnering with ML or engineering teams on scalable systems, automation, or personalization.
  • Strong organizational and facilitation skills with ability to synthesize input into clear frameworks.
  • Knowledge of content strategy, brand voice, and performance measurement.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed per hour below. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. 

Hourly Rate for California, New York City, Westchester County, NY, and Seattle, WA
$53.41$76.30 USD
