Description
This role supports the execution of Value-Added Services by assisting with project coordination, production processes, and laboratory testing. It also provides technical sales support to help deliver customized solutions that enhance customer value and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Technical Sales Director, Production Manager, and customers to design and implement tailored processes such as screening, magnetic separation, crushing, blending, and coatings.
- Conduct trials to refine and optimize new processes.
- Perform laboratory testing on product characteristics, including particle sizing, density measurements, moisture content, surface area, pH, and conductivity.
- Coordinate with Customer Service and Quality Control to support order fulfillment.
- Assist production operations during staffing shortages.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively with customers
- Commitment to safety in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Willingness to travel to other GNPGraystar locations as needed
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- Forklift operation capability (training and certification provided if necessary)
