Eagle Point School District 9 (EPSD9) is seeking a caring, student-focused Instructional Assistant – ELD to
support multilingual learners at Table Rock Elementary. Working under the direction of licensed ELD
and classroom teachers, this role provides small-group and 1:1 language-development support,
reinforces classroom instruction, and helps create inclusive, culturally responsive
learning environments where every student can thrive.

About the Role
The ELD Instructional Assistant works closely with the ELD teacher and classroom teachers to deliver
targeted language-development support in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Duties include facilitating
small-group lessons, providing individualized support, reinforcing academic vocabulary and language routines,
preparing instructional materials, supporting behavior expectations, and helping monitor
student progress aligned to individual goals. As needed, the IA may assist with
communication tools for families and school events,
following district guidelines.
Description
This Instructional Assistant position supports multilingual learners in the classroom, in small groups,
and within school-wide systems. Applicants who are bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply.

Position Title: Instructional Assistant – ELD (English Language Development)
Placement: Table Rock Elementary, White City, Oregon
Supervisor: Principal or Designee
Contract Days: 182 days per year / 7 hours per day
Salary Range: $17.54 – $24.93 per hour depending upon verified previous full-time experience in a similar position
Includes an excellent benefits package, including 6% PERS retirement "employee contribution"
paid by the District, and tuition reimbursement available
