About the Team
The current team consists of approx 350 talented engineers responsible for Monitoring & Observability, Incident & Response Management, Automation & Infrastructure Management, Performance Optimization, and Deployment. Peer functions include Infrastructure engineering, Platform Engineering, Persistence Engineering, and Tooling.About the Role
The VP SRE will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our enterprise software platform, which serves millions of users worldwide. This role will also drive the adoption of SRE principles and practices across the engineering organization, fostering a culture of ownership, automation, and continuous improvement.

About You
15+ years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or operations, with a strong focus on site reliability engineering.
10+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing and scaling SRE or operations teams in a large-scale, distributed environment.
Deep understanding of SRE principles and practices, including service level objectives (SLOs), error budgets, and automation.
Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP) and cloud-native technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Istio).
Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, Argo Workflows) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Git, ArgoCD)
Proven ability to lead and manage complex incidents, conduct thorough post-incident analysis, and drive improvements.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Metrics-driven mindset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).
A passion for reliability, automation, and continuous improvement.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
