Job Title: Site of Service (SOS) Team Lead
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: On-site role, frequent travel to facilities (daily/weekly), with occasional remote flexibility.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site of Service (SOS) Team Lead to oversee the daily operations and implementation of site of service collections. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team, optimize collection processes, and ensure accurate reporting of key metrics. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare billing and collections within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily site of service collection activities to ensure operational efficiency
- Guide and support internal and on-site staff to meet departmental goals and performance standards
- Monitor and report on collection metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize billing processes and resolve collection issues
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on billing software, collection strategies, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities and performance data
- Stay updated on industry regulations, best practices, and technological advancements in healthcare billing and collections
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in patient financial services, medical billing, or collections
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of healthcare billing and collections software, processes, and regulations
- Experience working in call center environments preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant billing systems
