Workyard is a growing SaaS startup developing an industry changing workforce management platform for the trades. Trusted by over 50,000 tradespeople, our platform helps businesses save time, increase profits, and improve crew accountability through a suite of solutions focused on automated time tracking, job scheduling, cost management, and compliance.

We are looking for a Vice President of Sales to lead and scale Workyard’s revenue engine as we grow from $6M to $50M+ ARR over the next 3 years. You will own the sales strategy, drive predictable revenue growth, and build a high-performing team across high-velocity inbound sales and scalable outbound motions. Reporting to the CEO, you will partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Revenue Operations to ensure inbound channels are optimized for maximum conversion while building a robust, repeatable outbound engine. You will balance hands-on leadership with building the systems, processes, and culture required for long-term scale.

Responsibilities

  1. Build and execute Sales Strategy

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve aggressive ARR growth targets

  • Optimize a high-velocity inbound sales process for speed, quality, and conversion rate improvement

  • Build a predictable outbound sales motion targeting high-value accounts in core verticals

  • Align sales efforts with Workyard’s ICP and market expansion priorities

  1. Lead, Manage, and Scale the Sales Team

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing inbound and outbound sales organization

  • Establish clear goals, KPIs, and accountability frameworks for the team

  • Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement

  1. Drive Predictable Pipeline and Revenue Growth

  • Partner with Marketing to maximize lead quality, velocity, and handoff efficiency

  • Ensure strong pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and consistent quota attainment

  • Implement strategies for expansion and upsell within the existing customer base

  1. Optimize Sales Processes and Systems

  • Collaborate with Revenue Operations to refine CRM workflows, reporting, and analytics

  • Establish scalable sales processes for both inbound and outbound motions

  • Leverage data-driven insights to inform decision-making and continuous optimizationa

Requirements

You are a proven sales leader with a track record of scaling B2B SaaS revenue teams and balancing high-volume inbound optimization with predictable outbound pipeline generation. You thrive in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments and can execute short-term priorities while building for long-term scale.

  • 7+ years in SaaS sales leadership roles, including managing both inbound and outbound teams

  • Demonstrated success scaling revenue from ~$5M–$10M ARR to $50M+ ARR

  • Expertise in optimizing high-velocity inbound sales funnels and building repeatable sales processes

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain outbound sales motions from scratch

  • Proven ability to recruit, coach, and inspire top sales talent

  • Data-driven decision-making with experience in CRM optimization and sales analytics

  • Excellent communicator and collaborator across functions

  • Preferred: MBA or equivalent advanced business education

  • Bonus Points: Experience in the Construction Technology industry
