Project Engineer bei RDR Utility Service Group LLC

RDR is seeking a qualified Project Engineer to complete our Excavation services division.
 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with vendors to complete submittals

· Build pay applications, track additional (or deleted) work, and submit documentation to engineering firms in a       timely manner

· Assist project managers with multiple projects across the tri-state area as assigned.

· Assesses the competence, capabilities, resources, and financial status of vendors and subcontractors.

· Compares the actual cost of development projects to estimates.

· Collaborates with engineering firms to keep projects on schedule, on spec, and on point

· Analyze equipment, processes, and systems to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.

· Prepares periodic progress and cost reports for leadership.

· Ensures compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and project specifications.

· Collaborate with the operations department to identify and troubleshoot problems.
 

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline required.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with vendors and engineering firms.

· CAD experience preferred
