TRIGO Global Quality Solutions has one immediate opening for Logistics System Analyst in Mossville, IL.

Pay for this position is is $20-$23 per hour.

This is a full time position 7AM - 3PM Mon-Fri.

 

Overall Purpose

The Logistics System Analyst supports operations with ongoing improvement activities related to warehousing operations across multiple warehouses, including developing processes for various aspects of the warehousing process, acting as a daily liaison between suppliers and end customers, training team members, acting as a super-user of inventory software, and coordinate with new customers.

Direct: Senior Logistics Manager

Responsibilities

  • Identifying areas of inefficiency or risk in existing operations. Working with the Sr. Logistics Manager to develop improvement plans, and thereafter work with Operations, Quality and Planning teams to implement solutions.
  • Serve as a super-user for the warehouse management system
  • Provide technical support of warehouse management system to all logistics facilities
  • Conduct and reconcile cycle counts and yearly physical inventory
  • Research, identify, and locate inventory discrepancy
  • Monitor supplier inventory levels and ensure no shortages exist
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance indicators
  • Train new team members
  • Onboard new customers and suppliers
  • Perform Analyst functions during times of peak need or while training analysts
  • Retrieve and prepare suppliers' requirements for kitted and bulk shipments
  • Create appropriate shipping labels for outbound shipments
  • Create daily inspection worksheets
  • Prepare daily dock audits for verification of inbound and outbound shipments
  • Prepare and send Advance Ship Notices (ASN) and/or invoices to end customer
  • Enter received shipments into WITS (Web Inventory Tracking System)
  • Complete manual invoices for price discrepancies, as required
  • Scan documents electronically and send to supplier and end customer
  • Prepare shipping documents and bills-of-lading
  • Other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned

Job Skills & Competencies

  • Demonstrated understanding of warehousing methods and shipping procedures
  • Operating-level proficiency using computerized inventory control systems
  • Operating-level proficiency using Microsoft Office EXCEL
  • Proven record of job diligence and attendance
  • Experience with Transportation and International Logistics a plus
