🔍 What we're looking for: Humata Health Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Market Development Associate to join our team. This role is all about building the foundation for successful sales conversations—researching accounts, mapping stakeholders, and preparing sales teams with the insights they need to engage healthcare leaders. You’ll also be the first point of contact with many potential customers.

If you are passionate about healthcare, AI, and the power of technology to transform patient care—and you’re excited to uncover sales opportunities, connect dots across complex organizations, and help translate market insights into sales impact—this role is for you.

Location: Remote, US or Hybrid - Orlando, Florida, US

Responsibilities

  • Account Research and Intelligence: Research target health systems, payers, and pharmaceutical companies to map decision-makers, organizational priorities, and potential entry points. Build detailed account briefs that equip sales with the insights they need for tailored engagement.

  • Targeted Outreach & Engagement: Execute personalized outreach to priority accounts through emails, LinkedIn, and event invitations—focused on starting conversations and warming up accounts rather than high-volume cold calling. Follow up on campaign leads and event interactions to qualify interest and book introductory conversations.

  • Data & CRM Management: Keep CRM up to date with contact details, outreach history, and account notes. Track responses and engagement metrics to share learnings back with marketing and sales.

  • Market Intelligence: Capture prospect feedback on market trends, product requirements, and competitive dynamics and log in CRM; share insights with GTM leadership to refine strategy.

  • Meet and Exceed Targets: Consistently achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly KPIs, including meetings booked, qualified opportunities generated, and pipeline contribution.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, or in a business development or account-based marketing role

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong phone presence, written communication, and presentation abilities; comfortable engaging executives, clinicians, and technical leaders.

  • Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with RevOps and ABM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, 6sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc).

  • Healthcare/Tech Interest: Passion for how data and AI can improve healthcare outcomes. Previous experience in healthcare technology is a strong plus.

  • Self-Starter Attitude: Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, able to take initiative and drive results with minimal oversight.

  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with eagerness to work cross-functionally to meet collective goals.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Background in account-based marketing or account-based sales development with experience executing targeted plays into defined account lists.

  • Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle, payer-provider workflows, or prior authorization processes.

  • Experience in a startup or scale-up environment, where adaptability and creativity are key.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance outreach volume with personalization and strategy.
