Commissioning - Enhancing Outcomes

We are looking for a confident and experienced leader to manage our Commissioning Team and help shape services that support people across Wiltshire throughout their lives.

You will lead a team of Commissioning Officers, Business Analysts and Apprentices, ensuring high performance, excellent customer service and effective delivery of complex programmes.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team, setting standards, allocating resources and supporting professional development. You will lead on strategic commissioning programmes, working through the full commissioning cycle to deliver outcomes, savings and manage risk. You will also work closely with Commissioning Leads, operational teams, legal services and external partners to ensure services are well-designed, aligned and meet the needs of our communities.

This role requires strong leadership, expert knowledge of social care policy and legislation, and the ability to manage complex relationships and competing priorities. You will be expected to respond to service-critical issues, provide expert advice, and contribute to the development of commissioning strategy and policy. You will also ensure safeguarding standards are upheld and that all commissioning activity meets legal and ethical requirements.

If you are ready to lead a team that makes a real difference and help deliver joined-up, high-quality services across Wiltshire, we would love to hear from you.
