We are the Pega North Government SC team. As team we focus on helping our customers to better serve their citizens and employees and to drive operational efficiencies. We do this with our great Pega solutions. Solutions which are rated as world class by the major analyst. We are looking for a new team member to strengthen the team, in this role you will work with customers, work with world class solutions, drive innovation and have fun. You will also collaborate with our the extended SC team, teams in product management, delivery, analysts, business officers, and other groups to ensure the successful execution of sales strategy.

On a daily basis you work with our government customers. You meet our customers on site and spend time learning about them. While learning you use Pega Blueprint (https://www.pega.com/blueprint) to conduct discovery and share with the customer how we can help them. In doing this you can show our world class software and our latest GenAI capabilities through TestDrives and Demo’s. Days can be long and hard, situations can be difficult, but there is great support, a great team culture and a super dynamic environment.
What You'll Do at Pega:
- Spend time with our customers to understand their strategy, plans challenges and opportunities
- Use Pega Blueprint to bring business and IT stakeholders together and design the pega solution
- Give our customers a hands-on experience with our solutions through TestDrives
- Give our customers a world class buying experience
- Work closely with the wider Sales Team
- Coordinate the extended team
- Use our Sales Automation tool to do the best for our customer and keep the extended team aligned and updated
- Create world class Blueprint, Discovery guides, Solution Vision documents, Presentations and demo’s
Who You Are:
- Passionate about people & technology! You have technical/business experience in client-facing roles such as pre-sales, consulting, technical enablement, or software application development in a government environment.
- Dynamic and flexible, you want to spend time on site with our customers and colleagues.
- A can-do person with the ability to build and present robust product demos, combined with the communication skills needed to develop customer relationships by listening to, understanding, and anticipating client needs (business and IT).
- Experienced in software development and architecture, project management, requirements engineering, product management and solution architecture.
- Innovative, keen to embrace Pega Blueprint, TestDrives and experiential selling
What You've Accomplished:
- Experience developing solutions, implementing or selling enterprise software solutions
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent business experience
- Ambition to work in a dynamic sales environment
- Delivered POCs and custom demonstrations and educated customers on product capabilities
- Ability to understand complex customer situations
- Pega CSA
- Vertical knowledge/experience in UK Government advantagious
- Thorough knowledge of technology tools, languages and programs
- Ability to utilize technology-based tools and processes
- Ability to understand and apply procedures, regulations, and policies related to areas of specialized expertise
- Ability to proactively develop customer relationships by listening to, understanding and anticipating, and providing solutions to customer needs
- Ability to use a clearly defined methodology for establishing priorities
- BPSS or SC cleared. Or willingness/ability to go through certification
- This role requires to regular travel to clients and our Pega offices (Uk driving license needed)
