As part of the Flexible Pipe Systems Offshore team based in Newcastle UK, you will be joining an established business and team with expertise in pipe design, manufacturing, and installation. This unique combination allows our customers to increase production and asset integrity whilst reducing the overall costs associated with a pipeline system.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes and systems to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, process optimization, and a passion for continuous improvement.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Acting as the subject matter expert for the Work Centre.
Resolving process issues on the shop floor.
Supporting HSE and Quality investigations and root cause analyses.
Driving continuous improvement within the Work Centre and department, with regards to HSE, Quality and Productivity
Creating and revising procedures, COIs, process and quality records.
Ensuring all Work Centre equipment is available for the process.
Ensuring customer, regulatory and industry standards (API, ISO) expectations are met for the Work Centre.
Identifying Work Centre process and equipment improvements and driving to completion.
Developing and maintaining the Work Centre training content, identifying new training, as required.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a sound knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques.
Be familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Be able to interface and communicate effectively with all levels of employees, management, and diverse audiences, including suppliers and internal/external customers.
Have proven attention to detail, with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, and personal organization skills.
Have proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
