Your role at ZEISS Digital: As a Senior Data Analyst / Project Lead, you’ll be a key contributor to our digital transformation journey and steer projects but also develop and support hands-on as a Data Analyst. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement strategic, data-driven solutions that support for example sustainability, supply chain optimization, and procurement excellence. Your Role
Stakeholder Collaboration, Business Understanding & KPI Generation: Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs, implement business logic and co-create impactful KPIs
Data Processing and Transformation: Process & transform data in the area of e.g. procurement, supply chain or sustainability
Visualize impact: Create dashboards and reports that make complex insights accessible and actionable
Project Leadership: Plan, execute, and oversee data projects or data products including requirements engineering
Technology Scouting & Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of trends in data, AI, and analytics to continuously improve our tools and methods
Mentorship: Support junior analysts and foster a culture of learning and inclusion
Your Profile
Master's degree in a STEM subject, such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
Several years of experience in data analysis, ideally in a senior role
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong communication skills in English and German, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, Power BI and Databricks
A collaborative mindset, curiosity, and confidence to challenge the status quo
Experience in procurement, supply chain, or sustainability is a plus
Experience in working in a Cloud & CICD environment is a plus
