YOUR ROLE:

As a Notarial Assistant, you will assist notaries in their mandates. Your duties will include:

  • Prepare, modify, and revise various types of legal documents (mortgages, sales, receipts, wills, and protection mandates);

  • Conduct research at various legal institutions (land registry, RPMRR, REQ);

  • Manage estate settlement files;

  • Gather information from various platforms to assist in the notary's mandate;

  • Ensure the complete management of mandate approval files in cases of incapacity;

  • Closely monitor documentation and files;

  • Draft various types of correspondence.

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Vocational diploma in legal secretarial studies (DVS) with a legal specialization or a DCS in Paralegal Technology;

  • Experience in notarial law;

  • Experience in wills, powers of attorney, estate settlement documents;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office;

  • Organizational skills, autonomy, and versatility;

  • Meticulousness, attention to detail, and discretion.
